Heey, I have bunches of scans from the better part of a sketchbook I recently finished. Most of this is done independant of class, because apparently foundations teachers here don't know how to assign useful homework. (I kid, I kid. But I am feeling the wax on/wax off effect with class assignments)
Here is a recent digital painting for a card
Also, here are colors for random projects and fun (I only colored these, I didnt draw them. I only colored these, I didnt draw them. I only colored these, I didnt draw them.)
(colored a sketch Isric did of Baron)
annd
Thats all for now! _________________ artpad.org |

These are great, Cicinimo. There is 100 tons of skill in this thread. The anatomy sketches are great, with the hands being especially good. I love that lion head near the top. Your coloring work is very professional. Are you working on any published comics? Because, judging by what I see here, you should be. |

Oof!
That's a good oof, by the way.
Not crazy about the color stuff, but the sketches are firin'. I'd be interested in seeing a PS piece where you handled the stokes more like you do in your pencil sketches. _________________ brian.prince|light.comp.paint |

Nice stuff.
in agreement with Balistic on handling your painting strokes the same way you do with the pencil. You could get away with a lot of suggestion rather than full rendering becuz your shapes and forms are reading clearly...something to experiment with. |

Particularly enjoyed your sketchwork. Probably a stupid question, but I'm wondering, your linework is considerably darker than your rendering/shading, did you just use more pressure to pull that off or did you use 2 different types of pencils? What kind did you use? |

Awesome work, Jaime. Did you do any work with Chris Mayernik when you met with him? I was talking to him on the phone and he mentioned drawing with you for awhile. Just curious. |

great stuff, man! are these hands your own ones or did you kinda copy them out of an anatomybook? _________________ known as "ChrisNix" elsewhere. |
