Well, I am interested in the movie scene, but mainly interested in the CG side of things. The things that those big ol' companies can pull of (DreamWorks, Disney, etc) these days is just so damn kewl! Something I really want to get into.
OK, I've probably gone off the main topic you were trying to target, so I'll contine. @:-) Have you (or anyone else) heard of or are interested in Machinima? (I'd just like to get a convo going on that @;-)

Hi, a bit off topic, but I'd like to know if anyone else shares my interest in the moving arts medium? I've seen a few ppl's works with ShockWave and that's borderline don't ya think? I can't draw worth diddly, but I do have an interest in the visual arts in general. Anyone here into the TV&Film scene, beyond just watching movies?
To get things rolling, I'd like to know about people in the bizness that U look up to? My list would be too long to post, but here's a few I can think off the top of my head.
Akira Kurosawa (I'm left speechless.), David Fincher (his visual style is unique and brilliant), Terry Gilliam (Oddball but gotta love those movies), Spielberg (his later works "Schindler's List" & "Saving Prv. Ryan, also a shining example of mainstream but still no compromises in style), Takeshi Kitano (my other favorite Japanese director), Lynch, Burton, Coen brothers, Wachowski bros. (Pity "Bound" didn't get the hype "Matrix" did...) etc. etc. ad infinitum. Add some more if I forgot someone major.
Ok, this has gone on for long enough, any and all replies (positive&negative) are very welcome. Thanks.
