This was painted mainly for fun and what would happen if I loosened up my illustration style. I hope you like the result! C+C always appreciated.
Just updated this with higher contrast, stonger saturation on the plasma flames, wall shadows and extra effects on the ball'o'death! Old version.

Odds- The expression needed a little work from the sketch to make him appear more psychotic  Glad to hear you're enjoying it!
Yarik- You don't say?  Didn't they call it 'BFG9000' or something in Q2?

Yo Highfive, I love the plasma effect!
One crit i have is that the guys head seems a bit short from the eyes downwards, might be due to perspective, but then the perspective on the eyes and stuff seems a bit off. Nothing too disturbing, but I think it could improve the guy alot. |

Absolutely nuts! I love the square barrel. the shotgun? on his back seems to be off-kilter though. The walls seem a little bland, but maybe that just draws attention to him. Spot-on with the plasma though. I love it!
