This is a quick color and lighting sketch of a picture I want to compelte.
I need some help though. I know I have had a problem with lighitng images correctly in the past. I am working hard on this one to create semi-dramatic lighting, instead of ambient light which i normally end up doing.
I also need some photo references or critiques for the facial position. It is really hard to find some pictures on the net like that... I may have to resort to taking my own photos.
Here is the linework... as you can see, I really need a reference.
Also, should keep the color scheme?
Thanks for any advice. |

i think it looks very nice for begining. but looking at it i ask myself if the light is coming from in front of her, or above her? that's just something you might want to think about. also, with the head pose, i think it looks alright, but you might want to shave off some of the top. it's just that the anatomy off the head is off. it would be fine if it was not so high above the face. i don't know if that makes sense, but that's the only way i could work it. sorry i couldn't be of more help. a great begining tho, better than i could do anyways. haha. _________________
