great work here watmough. I also has been caught by the watercolor magic, amazing medium to work with and no cheating allowed.
Really interesting light in that Studiocorner pic, also in that jessewc but I must say u caught something interesting in all of them.
I think that first one would have been more interesting if you were not to add white gouache.

have u tried to do watercolor without a drawing underneath? really is difficult I can tell you but it is good practise since one stroke has to be planned ahead and if on the wrong track the painting can be washed out, I guess if you use thick papers.
It's great to see you keep working at it and posting a lot of speedies aswell.

yeah,watercolour is a trap,huh! its taking over all my time,but it is fun.
these are small(4x6) so theyve really taken the place of my sketchbook,so i'm trying to simplify my drawing technique underneath at the same time.so,to answer your question,no,i dont think ive ever done a watercolour without an underdrawing,will try though.
the one i did of the harbor,well it was freezing out,and i could barely move my hands,so i used white out for the white bits.oh well...
would be nice to see more of yours as well!
