Im trying to work on my rendering skills in photoshop because they are a bit lacking. so i thought id post my current work to get some crits and suggestions on teh render, and drawing itself before so i can incorperate the new ideas so i can learn from them

Very nice technique. Very stylized.

Her face seems out of place. It's shaded and
nothing else is.

The guy (I guess it's a guy) on the right looks
like he has big green hooters.

He looks really angry. Is he about to hit her, or
is he scratching his neck? Either way, it make
everything run off the upper right-hand corner
of the page.

Shade everything or make her face stylized like
his. She also has kind of manish brutish features.

That's a lot of no, no's ...on an up-beat, I really
like your colors. I wrestle with my palette, so whenever
I see good color technique, I have to comment.

well i worked on the pic some more, decided to get rid of the guy altogether, (he was an after thought and was done fast. i need to go back and work on her face though i think its her nose thats bothering me.



im gunna work on it more later, after im done im gunna work on anatomy somemore.

That's lookin' nice...

Loose the black line to the left of her nose (our left)
and it's not straight with the center line of her face.
Mute the black outlines around the eyes and mouth.
They're kind of heavy and not very 'fairy' like.
