Hey guys, been a long time since I posted here. Haven't been doing any art that fits these boards Anyway, i started out with this illustrator piece last night and I'm kinda stuck. I think it lacks action, and it doesnt feel dynamic enough to give you the 'smack-in-the-face'-feeling I want. Any tips on how I can improve this?

Maybe some bullet trails and alot more smoke would help. You could also bring the nearest plane even further towards the spectator. |

I like that version alot more. The yellow gives it more life and its much more interesting to look at now. Cool style, I hope you post more illustrator stuff soon. |

the smoke looks a little too dense...almost liks some oil leak or something... I think that when people say smoke they mean a long trail of it. By the time you have flames like that the trail of smoke would probably pretty long i imagine. Perhaps you could try repositioning the planes a little more and find some arrangement that makes use of your space better? nice work. _________________ It's nice to be important, but more important to be nice - Scooter |
