[Scirus]

For quite sometime, I've had a strong interest in drawing. However, I can't seem to actually produce something that is quality. I've tried and tried putting down what I see in my head, or what I see in person, but it always turns out totally different, and just doesn't look good. I was wondering, if anyone could point me to books, tutorials, and reference sites to help me start out. Any help is appreciated!

You'll see how important the proportions are / how accurately you'll have to draw.
So if you think you have to start with learning anatomy at least try to do a good job in that area.
