[Sc00p]

Over the past few months, I've been reading more comic books than I should (they're damn expensive) but I couldnt get away from the great art and great coloring, it kept pulling me back. So, here is my attempt at the "comic-cut" style which I hope to have a tutorial on my site when it re-opens. This style is fairly old but was really brought to life by a group called Liquid! at http://go-liquid.com .

Anyhoo, here it is, it's a drawing/coloring of my good friend Darkmoon, who *gasp* is an active member on this board as of recent (YAY!!) so here she is :



Ain't she pretty? Comments are appreciated. Did I reach that level of "Liquid!" and should I make a tutorial of this style?

hey hey hey hey hey hey hey hey hey, you mean to tell me u "havent" posted a tutorial when you draw that "that" that good? whats that all aboot!! i think u could do a good tutorial, i would look at it! i want to draw like that sometimes but its weird when i am not good at anything other than freakish and black dark stuff. so a tutorial would really help! so would you?

That style simply owns. I love Liquid! as well, especially their work on Battle Chasers. Which reminds me, Battle Chasers is pissing me off. Joe M. is so friggin' lazy. Issue 6 has been out for like 9 months now$*(@!&*$&*@!

Okay Hamster, you've convinced me, I'll include that coloring style with my tutorials on the new site when I'm about finished (which might be a bit...but ehh..SOOO busy you know)

Oh yes, and I'll also include duotone coloring and painting coloring tutorials (painting isn't my specialty, but I'll certainly try to make a nice tutorial on how I do it) Hopefully these will be bundled with various comic/anime drawing tutorials, such as drawing a figure, one body part at a time, and how to do them in different styles.
Hopefully my new site will be a nice drawing resource once it's done (not to mention it'll have a weekly comic)

I'm probably making more work for myself, but sigh...maybe I'll recruit some help
