nah, I've been told he's a bit "up himself" if you know wot I mean. My dad's talked to him a couple of times I think.

I had a smoke outside his house the other day, he lives on the banks of the Forth next to the Forth Bridge.

Its quite cool because I have been to most of the places he writes about!
