How do I go about coloring this? Better yet, would someone like to give it a shot for me?

Actually, I know how to color it in...
...but I want to know how to actually turn this sketchy, scribbly mess into an actual piece of artwork. Where do I go from here? |

Well, lay down some darker colours where the recesses are to create shadows. And put down some lighter colours as highlights. Smugde it all around a bit (including the scratchy lines) and you have a start. Now just keep laying down the colours, smuding and refining until it's nice and smooth. Use the airbrush on low pressure when trying to blend colours. Does it all make sense? That was just a very rough summary. Just read Dhab's tutorial. That has it all.

Hmmm. I'm rarely in Photoshop, but if I was going to color this, I'd make a new layer (even tho I hate them) and set it on top of the original sketch. Set the layer to multiply, then completely get rid of all the white. Just splash your background color all over it. Then slap the body with a nice neutral tone, then build up on the highlights, and down on the shadows from there....with the paintbrush tool for maximum ease.
