My initial aim with this picture was just to create a very detailed background, since that is an area I was having trouble with previously. After I was happy with it, I wanted to finish it off by throwing some content in.

The blur on the freground figure is a little messy, but it just looked wrong without it. I wanted to draw the focus of the picture towards the girl under the archway, and felt the blur helped make it more realistic.
