I've been gone for a long time, just reading the speed painting thread when i had the chance.
I spent about 10 hours on and off on this one, it's the most finished painting i might have done all year.
i'm leaving for prague in one month, i'll spend the winter there studying.
flushgarden, post some more dude. or get your ass into an art school :)

Hello, Gecko! I have really enjoyed your latest paintings (girl with the motorcycle)! Your painting skills are seriously going to "killer" level! I can feel the " rhythm" in your pic! hehe!

10 hours! And it still looks like a sketch, I think you zoomed some single spot for little too long.. Nice work though. The robots are truly recognizeable (or how do you spell that..) as a female and a male. I like the red floor, and how it gets foggy as it goes further back.
I like the composition, the harth fitts in perfectly, actually it couldn't work without it.
I think you've been doing some work on the field, looking for reference between dancefloor and the bottle, before painting this? |

Great image. The only thing that I dont like and distracts me is the shades(?) on the female robot. they seem just like an unpainted black hole area to me. |
