Whew!

Exams are over and life begins once again. Here is a sci-fi thing I did a couple of months ago and some random crawler I've done post-summer.
Off to a hard start but practice makes perfect, so if you ahve any critizism, Id love to hear it.
I've been away from the drawing board for a while.

(obviously inspired by sploobe.....and it looks a bit Arne/ANJ aswell.....I'm not shure how I feel about this one, really. But as it's the first thing I've done for a long time and I thought I'd show it, and perhaps get some pointers from the crowd)

Good to be back!!!! Smile

Very spectacular, great brushwork & textures!
There are some bugs imo, which are minor.. for example perspective in 2-nd one seems to be wrong, so it can't help the feeling of 3D (as it probably was designed)
Great work however Smile

Very sweet. I really enjoy that city scape, it has a high energy atmoshpere. Its well composed to boot. Nice one.

The neon lights remind me of Homeworld 2.

Perspective doesn't look right on the top of the tall building in the first pic, but apart from that minor quibble I really love both pics.

ax--hv: Thanks. Yeah I couldn't quite figure it out. The crawler was drawn freehand without planning as sort of a stressreleaser. No 3d if that's what you mean.

iandredd: Haha, thanks. What's the grat idea though?

gammon: Glad you like it. I kinda like it too, whitch is why I posted it, hehe. "neo lights"? Do you mean the yellow streaks in the air? It was intended to be a mix between timelapse photography and self illuminating plastic....

Suma: Hmnm, I don't see that......annoying. I do see the crap perspective/presence situation in the second one. Which I'm working on now.

Thanks guys.

Now, to make a pictures which actually interesting in some way, and not just "a robot" or "a future city" hahaha.
