I like the colour choice. It's getting there, but the perspective is a bit off in places. The two wind intakes (?) seem a bit off-angle, especially if you look at how the light hits the rightmost (from our perspective) intake. It looks a bit like the shape is half a cylinder, while the other side is heavily bent. The ref shows cylinder shapes that are rotated along perspective. Also, the glass panes of the drivers almost seems to project into the air, off the ship.
Keep working on it until you get things right. Digital medium is awesome, as you won't end up with some horrible impasto effect if you overwork it. Flip the pic over a lot to get a new perspective. It gets dangerous if you work too long on something as-is, because you'll get lost in trivial details quite easily, rather than big, important shapes. _________________ What doesn't kill you makes you stronger.

All right thanks alot for the kick reply.. Ill try that. Flippign over the pic see what happens, im all ways trying new ways to learn how to paint:) Yeah ive done the a couple times spent an hour on the engines trying different things for metal ive used a 1 px brush and did single click strokes for half of it, but it dident work so then i tryed just liek scribbling in a bunch of colors it looked a bit better then i started to try to define it more it can probley use alot of work but in the end i think it might turn out.. |
