It's just a commercial site with simple
illustrations of Ed "Big Daddy" Roth
type hot-rods that I used to
air-brush onto my friends T-shirts
in highschool for five bucks a pop,
that he wants an absurd 4,500 USD
for. It may be considered "art" at
the local drag-strip, but I don't
think so... |

Xtreme,
The all hand engraved Hot Rod Graffiti art is a very rare art form. The bad news is the web site does not really show the engraving very well. When engraving the art there is no room for error. Where air brushing or painting is easier to change a color or shade as you go--when needed.
The engraved line has to be 100% complete in flow to the end or the art piece is no good. Then it is very difficult engraving on metal too. When you really see
what it takes to do just the engraving part...thats just the beginning.
Yes, there are several great hot rod designs in the market place. But there is
no other engraved hot rod art like this in the world. This is what makes it a rare
art form and collectable.
It is a educational process regarding the all hand engraved art form. Once you understand the process and talent invloved it really will blow you away.
