Hi folks, here's a new piece. It's a Warhammer 40,000 fan art piece.
Had a lot of fun doing this one, Crits & Comments are welcome.

Good piece. Though I thought it was a bit sad for that old sniper that he had no one to shoot at, so I did a quick paintover. Hope it's ok, if not just tell me and I'll remove it.

Fiend- Thanks, that's a cool idea, i originally had him shooting someone, but decided to change it, and kind of focus on the character.
But your welcome to do paint-overs and so is everyone else.
Thanks again. |

Hey mate, good atmosphere. However, you need to make the lines work better before you add colour into it. Also if you can create more "touch" on the cloth the sniper wears, it will look 10 times better. _________________ Art and music presents my soul. |

Nice picture! Really like the atmosphere. I just thought that the right arm looked a bit short, or maybe I'm having trouble reading it. Hope this speedpaint is ok.

Kid blues- Thanks for the advice dude.
Misc- The way you drew the arm isn't right. The elbow is extended vertically, it's not at his side. Thanks for the crits.
Thank you guys. |

Misc's paintover isnt completely correct, but it is in majority. Dresden, i don't know if you'v ever held a rifle, but keeping your elbow fully extended outward is kinda tiring at times, therefore one tends to relax the elbow closer to their side - much like misc's. This is especially true for a character such as this who would have to wait in that spot for a LONG period of time. Plus, keeping ur elbow out like that makes your profile larger, and easier to spot. But this whole thing is only a minor prob and in no way do i think you need to fix it. Its fine as is IMO. _________________ -Chase |

CwStone- Thanks for the crit. This is a Warhammer 40k piece, and the miniature model they have looks like that. I wanted to stay true to their character. I know what you mean about the elbow, i 've shot rifles before.
Thanks. |
