I have been working on this one on and off for a while, for all the spair time i have, I think it turned out pretty good, it looks kind of crappy in the picture on comp, cause of course much truer colour in real life, i donno, i just seem to not be able to take good pictures of my paintings, anyone have good tips?? I always, get the stupid flash mark on it. And if i turn flash off, it is blurry. Really blurry.
Anyways, yeah, this is from 100 mile house, use to go there when i was younger. Also i sold this painting, for my digital camera i own. about 230 dollars. And i bought about a 350 dollar digital camera.
I wish you could see the real life version looks much better! It is too light in the photo.
C&C Welcome.

I've been there, on my way to Ketchikan.
Two things. In the next version of this painting place something in front of the bottom edge of the red building, like stalks of grass or something, so it doesn't look like it's setting in green putty. And, finish the purple flowers in the foreground more. They are very close and need more detail that the trees in the far distance.
All in all, a very nice piece. I ABSOLUTELY would hang it with my stuff. |

Thanks stacy for the tips, and the kind comments!
Yeah it is so hard to show, as a picture, if you would see the real painting, in lifewise. It is much nicer, and you can see everything better, and the flowers are actually standing out. It doesn't really show, in the photo tho. PLus it is so small..
As for the cabin though, i will look at doing that thanks.
