Hey
As you may have seen me and some guys had a speedy comic duel in the speedy a couple of days ago. I was wondering, would this be a good idea for a new themed thread?
How should we organize it if we were to make such a thread?
What kind of rules and etc, and how many pics allowed to post per time? what time-frame for each pic?
Maybe a good idea would be when someone has posted a frame that immediately after the next person reserve his or her place so there wouldn't be any confusion with people making the same frame. Like with the text "The next frame is mine" and then when that guy or girl has finished and posted that pic, someone else can reserve his place with the same text "The next frame is mine". What do you guys think?
Anyway I am just spawning ideas here so let me know what u think.
have a nice day ![Smile](images/smiles/icon_smile.gif) |

Id like that.
- Perhaps its a good idea if someone who is reserving a frame also mentions what he has in mind for that frame, so that others can already start thinking about the following frame.
- Also, one should only reserve a frame if he actually has time to do it in an acceptable timeframe (perhaps a day or so...).
- About the pic amount Id say that one should post as less as possible in one rush, but as much as needed to tell a certain part of the story, cos often one pic is not enough to make it work.
- About the subject I think the idea of that clumsy superhero is great. Id definitely prefer to keep it funny rather than a making it serious story. |

maybe after you say "next one's mine", you get a certain amount of time.. i mean, say a day max? otherwise it's fair game.. just to keep things movin' |

Improcomics in general has come to be known as the most incoherent
creations of all times, and that's when (usually) given a week for as
many pages possible (/a chapter).
So it'll be interesting to see the speed version of it. Godspeed. |

ok thanks here guys.
I would like to have more views on this subject though and I don't wanna be the only one that keeps this thread together this time, so please add more thoughts here. What do you guys think would be the best for to make this kind of thread to work? Would u guys like it to be themed like with an actual super-hero?
My thoughs in the speedy when I posted that speedy comic was to focus on the speedy part and to make the comic funny and parody on actual comic super-heros, like a clumsy Batman, or a fat superman could be something, voice of Superman "-ohh my god my cryptonite is cheeseburgers hehe".
Drunken_muse, I can see what u mean there but mostly I was looking for that paintery feeling and speedy, kind of like the same what we do in the speedy so not an actual comic with those old rules rather speedy and fun.
ok keep your thoughts coming guys
have a nice day
