Heya!
I'm new one here. I found these forums few days ago... wow, wonderful site! I'll be lurking here from now on 
Okay, I post few of my paintings... just to introduce myself  . Of course, critique is welcome.
A malicious drow priestess... photoshop.
I tried to achieve Baldur's Gate style in this portrait (I adore BG1 portraits). It ended looking like a portrait from BG2?

drow: looks pretty good, the lighting is a bit off though. The light seems to be coming from the walls to her sides, I would rework the lighting on (our) right so it looks like more light is coming from the ball. The lighting on the dress is alright, its the lighting on the tank top im talkin about.
bg2 portrait: I played through that entire game  . I think you did a pretty good job mimicking the style. Firstly, the skin on the bottom of her head (around her mouth) doesn't look smooth, and the colors don't quite match the rest. I would also add more complexity to her clothes, the armor seems too plain. |

Good job. I like the clean style and the colors.
Maybe the colors are not daring enough though!?
Especially the first one ...
maybe a 2nd colored light source would make it more interesting.
And right ... the lighting isn't really coherent.
The arms look a little too simplified / stiff.
That kinda surprises me because everything else is on a very high level.
