I've been using photoshop CS for quite some time now and have been getting used to the whole combined tool thing with the Opacity and Flow. This WHOLE time i assumed that flow only did something (anything) when the airbrush icon was turned on. infact i thought the whole flow thing was basicaly airbrush related anyways. Recently i played around with the flow with the airbrush button off, and low and behold its doing something, not only that but i can't tell the difference in playing around with it while the buttons on or not!
So... what do you guys use to paint?? i think i normaly have flow 100% and the airbrush icon off, and just play with opacity.
Is there anything else i should know about this funky flow thing??
thanks |

From the Photoshop CS manual that *cough* you should have. : )
"Flow specifies how quickly paint is applied by the Brush tool. A low setting produces a lighter stroke." |

Yeah, it looks like the airbrush button makes it so it paints while holding, not just while moving the brush... whatever
anyways. i think what i was really wondering is what do people like to use. do you have a certain setting or do you play with flow a lot. Just kind of curious.... really its one of those stupid questions. But anything helps. |
