Yeah, he's real hot!!!

Maybe abit stiff, work on the "flow".
Other than that!
Nice and relaxed style!

Thanks for the comments guys!
Allpetter: That's something I've had trouble with for quite some time. Any time I try to keep mildly realistic anatomy, I end up making it stiff without reference. I'm working on it though. ![Smile](images/smiles/icon_smile.gif) _________________ http://www.eraserx.deviantart.com

I like the third piece. It has more rhythm and there's a nice counterpoint between the flow of the lines and the strength of the figure. In terms of your base mechanical skills I think it's the best one.
However your stylized, "chiseled" technique is quite distinct and probably very much "you", and could work very well in splashy "pop" pieces. Like a high energy ad campaign for, say, Jetski's 'fer instance. With lots of action, danger and bright primary and secondary colors!!!
Do more open hands not clenched and try rendering your figures in action poses. And work on your eyes more.
Other than that, over all they're very very nice pieces. |
