Hi im 15, in england and i have been offered a job to design card covers for a company called 'publishing house' based in Banbury, I need to send a portfolio in, and to be honest I dont have one, I do GSCE art and have some decent peices and also have some little doodles at home. What does a portfolio need for someone of my age???

I have painter 8 as well with a wacom intuos A6 tablet, shall I do some art on there? to show that I can use technology?

My advice would be to worry less about they might think and try to select a bunch of images that best represent what it is that you do - and what you want to do.

for example, If you for some reason don't like painting cars, then don't send in a bunch of car-pics. Then they'd go "hey, this guy does cars! we have ourselves a carguy" and then they'd start sending you jobs that have cars in them...

15 years old uh? that's young. don't let them screw you over just because of that. i hope you do well and have a great time.
