Hello im souru [ owner of disturbed recordings // www.disturbed-recordings.com ]
Me and my friend host weekly drum and bass FM radio show called showdown in local radio here at Estonia. We want to make a website for the show as fan base has grown up to 15.000 listeners every week, but we want to make it special.. The site would have the taste of www.dogsonacid.com ( i mean general idea and structure ) only difference is that it will be local and there wont be no financial sides incuded with the project. We dont get even paid for the show, we just do it to educate people in our music.
anyway, would be super nice if someone would pick us up and do a site design for us ( only design! i can find someone to code it.. ).
markwords for the design:
dark/gothic
techy ( android characters monitors whatever.. )
Design mainly focused on header, as the site itself will be built based on forum code i belive..
character(s)
and if u feel liek doin alil more.. feel free to give a shoot with showdown logo.. would be nice to have it.. 
what i had in mind was to have a skull with a spine attaced to it.. or i dunno.,. u have free hands, just make it dark as our selection of drum and bass is dark and technoid..
Ill be honest with you: i cant pay you for this.. so.. the request is for peoplewho want to help us with it..

Hmmm...
We've had a few threads on the value of art and design on this forum. Anyone interested in reopening that particular can of Lumbricidae?
Sorry man, but I don't think anyone is going to do that much work for someone they don't know for zero money just to be "nice". |

i shudder at those two words (dark and gothic) when attempted to associate them with the word 'design'.
Money is usually what gets any ball rolling...that is
unless somehow it will be some new revolutionary once in a life time project to work on...
with those two words 'dark and gothic' it brings to my intuition
that there is nothing revolutionary about either of those words or this 'freebie design request'.  |

This sounds snide, (and it probably is) but with 15,000 listeners every week, I'm sure at least one of them can crank off a half-decent website design. Why not hold some sort of contest? Winner gets to pick an hour's worth of music.
