Hi folks.

I just recently got the opportunity to see the Neon Genesis Evangelion series and it's movies. I've wanted to for awhile, but never got around to it. Without giving a full fledged review, I loved it, adored it, was put in awe of it, and will cherish it when I buy the box set myself.

It inspired me to do some fanart. Done yesterday and today, took about 12-15 hours total.

I wasn't sure what I wanted when I started out. I could have gone either cartoon, or realistic...It turned out to be a bit of both. Shinji looks a little older, but that was intended (For no real reason). Do you think that orange primordial tear is too cheese?

The original is pretty huge, so I lost a couple of details here and there, mainly in Shinji's suit. I have some detail shots below.

woah hey nice stuff. Really like the colours! the only thing that bothers me is his face, it looks nothing like shinji ikari! oh well very quality tho, pot more!

Great picture, just one nitpicky thing he looks like a giant with the perspective you've chosen with the small little waves.

i agree with dekard on the giant thing. also, i don't quite like something about the way his done. i'm not sure if its the outline on the jaw that's messing it up, or the coloring on the face. the rest of it is hot, but for some reason i end up staring at his face.
