I have been trying to use this new program ArtRage. Great little app! Problem is that the stroke and cursor never line up (see photo). I tried installing the latest driver (PC) and still get the same trouble. The Wacom works fine with Photoshop but goes nuts in ArtRage. Any ideas would be appreciated. Thanks!

Greg

ive had the same problem
however, try using your wacom control panel and add artrage in the applications supported, also ive found if you click and hold your pen,the problem goes away,so you could set the button to click once and hold in your wacom control panel

Thanks for the reply watmough,

I did have it added to the set of applications supported...no dice.

Also, I tried your tip on pressing the pen button, but the only problem with that is it switches the pressure sensitivity off which defeats the purpose of a tablet. In other words it goes to mouse mode and works as long as you keep holding the button.

So discouraging.

hi Greg,

Set your wacom prefs to use only one monitor, for all apps. Special settings per application doesn't work:( Just set it back when done.

Lets see some artrage from you !

i've noticed the same problem if you change resolutions while artrage is running.. but then it worked fine when it first opened up.

Leave it to Craig to set me straight Very Happy

I couldn't figure out how to set Wacom's preferences to use only one monitor, but when I turned off the extended desktop setting in properties it worked. Did I do that right?

nice! Looks very much like your oil work.

On wacom windows driver, version 4.78-6, look on mapping/speed tab, look for display area, pop up for "entire display". Pop it up and it should have monitor 1 and 2. set for monitor 1 vwaaalaaa

I just gave ArtRage a try and run in exactly the same problem. Unfortunately my Wacom settings are already like Spooge suggested. At some point the cursor manages to get on the other screen and then I get this offset problem which I can only fix by restarting artrage.

Apparently Artrage it the only program where I can access both screens with the pen. It seems to ignore the Wacom settings. I have no pressure sensitivity in Artrage either...

I had the same problem and asked artrage about it... herewith, their answer:
---------------------------------------------
Thanks for the information. This relates to a bug that we have fixed in our
internal build, relating to support for two monitor systems. I believe as a
work around, turning off the second monitor while ArtRage is running fixes
it. While this isn't an ideal solution, it could tide you over until the
update release is made available in the next couple of weeks.
