i want to buy myself a domain for my art page.

i have no idea how to name it.

it will be .com domain, something not to long (i think two words would be cool), it should be easy to write and to understand. It can be funny, i think it's okay if it's not directly connected to art.

any suggesteions ?

ps. i will buy the domain for my first money earned in my new job, few weeks ago i started to work in a game company as a concept artist, this forum helped me alot in achiving this (job like this was my dream), so thanks Very Happy

btw I had some cool ideas way back but they were taken. There is an episode with Simpsons where the grandfather was in the 2nd world war in a pluton called Hellfish, this word I grew fund of so anything with Hell is also cool.
Hellfrog was supposed to be me domain but it was also taken.

maybe "oddhell.com" or "hellodd.com" muahahaha.

I think http://www.icantpaint.com/ is a great domain for a graphics artist.

It's also not taken.

what a crazy domains, thanks for you creativity. i didn't even think about puting my nick name in to the domain, but i like www.oddbrush.com. www.oddthought.com/www.oddthoughts.com sound cool but are already taken.

i was trying to come with a domain name with words like: inspiration , colors , funky , monkey. So i guess i still got to figure out something cool.

about my job, thanks for the kind words, i can't say what i'm working on right now. In my city there are only two game developing companies so when there was an advert on the newsgroup that they are looking for someone who can draw well i gave it a try and send them this : http://fajneobrazki.prv.pl ( fajne obrazki = cool pictures, it's a catchy domain Smile

but already taken), they took me out of 70 people (two factors that helped were, i knew a little 3d, and i was from the city and they didn't want the remote worker). The company name is Techland, the game they are developing now is: http://xpandrally.com/

You could just use your real name, that's what I did. It helps to promote your name, as well as help people to remember it.

That problem with having a domain name that is slightly odd (man, that is a horrible pun!) is that you may get board of it or people will simple fail to remember it. I�ve been through, in order: balancedinsanity.com, neuroticsoap.net, illatease.net, anti-missilemissile.com, fl-u.ws (which is still up), and now I�ve just settled with my name.

Yeah man. using your real name can't be a mistake. I used my real one for my nick. That's kinda odd since you all guys have those cool nicks but someone took the nick "max" and...well. I am just not creative concerning nicks I quess...

Awetopsy's name is easy to remember, rhymes and the spelling makes sense. Therfor it's a great choice.

Max Kulich on the other hand I would mispell constantly. Max Kullich. Max Coollich.

Just like if Dhabih Eng (do you know how many times I just retyped that until I got it right?) used his real name instead of Sijun...I wouldn't be here right now.
