I have been painitng in PS and Painter for quite some time now but recently I became very aware of my huge lack in the basics of painting.
...so Im kinda starting over again and here is the first problem I have:
Perspective drawing seemed to be the best place to start for me and when it comes to vanishing points for the perspective guidelines I really cant figure out a good way to work.
here is an example how I do now:
...so I make a set of guidelines from some visible points then cut the area I want to paint in and resize it to the resolution I want to use... the result is some really blurry lines that are hard to follow and very hard to add new ones in the empty spaces.
Am I way off or on the right path here, how do the experts work?
All help is appreciated. |

Use the line tool set to draw vector lines. Resize all you want. |
