It's high time I knocked my website into shape. At the moment, it's just a directory.
Does anyone know of any good Dreamweaver tutorial pages/books?
I come from the 'I've just emerged from a 30 year coma' wing of IT proficiency, so the more idiot proof the better.
thanks guys

Hahah!
Great self promotion eyewoo
I'll have to check it out for myself though.
I've been considering going PHP since it can be so much easier.
Thanks

Though I haven't tried it, and he didn't pay me to say it either, I really must recommend using eyewoo's page builder. It looks sharp, with minimal fuzz. Good portfolio pages are the simple ones, here's a GREAT site, just the way publishers want it: http://www.jonhodgson.net/
No flash, java, shockwave or any other crap that gets in the way of the art. The least amount clicks before you actually get to see the art. Simple, self-explainatory layout. Yeah, that's the way I would do it if I didn't have my very own webmonkey
Good luck on your site Pud, I'm looking forward to it! _________________ www.mattiassnygg.com

The Visual Quickstart Guide to Dreamweaver by Peachpit Press is a good start; it's relatively inexpensive compared to the giant bible books, easy to read and full of great practical information on how to use the app and get the most out of it.
Also try Macromedia's Developer's Center for lots of juicy information on tricks and techniques for Dreamweaver. _________________ - Tom Carter
