Hi all. Just thought I'd share a cover I just did for a little game company called Galileo. I like it over all. But had a bit trouble with the pose and the lighting. They wanted it to "pop", hence the bright orange against green/blue. Let me know what you think. Thanks.

hey, nice overall, but i think the far background needs to look more solid, right now it looks kinda like a brush scetch, if its for a cover i think either make it alot sharper and put more attention to details, or make it less sharper, and get rid of those brushstrokes that are far too obvious..
also if i were you, id redo the smoke coming from the gun, try going in there with a smaller brush aswell, right now if feels like the smoke never gets very thin anywhere, which makes it feel like a long brush stroke to me rather than a dazzling unpredictable flow of gas.
hope that helped _________________ or noot... *pop!* |

Man, you're a tough crowd sometimes!
Great stuff Ted. It's got that whole Fantastic Fiction, 60's sci-fi short stories magazine feel to it which I like. Also, give him a Trilby, and a raincoat, and it's a Philip Marlowe book.
Love it.
