Hey guys,
I'm new here on sijun. I've been visiting these great forums [espacially the speedpainting thread] for some weeks now...it's just amazing and very inspiring. I couldn't resist to join, too
I'm 17 years old and live in Switzerland. I must say that I'm quite a newbie to art - I've been drawing and painting only for ~2 months. The reason why I joined here is because I simply want to get better and I like the atmosphere here.
Here is a pic I painted today [inspired by Max Kulich's awesome speedpainting]. I know it is far not as good as the one of Max, but maybe somebody can help me
Comments [especially tips&tricks ] are very welcome.
thx for viewing!
*EDIT*
here's an older speedpainting:

Hey I'm 17 too! I think the bridge could be over all brighter, going from slightly brighter toward you than the far side. Oh, and use more colors from different hues, that always makes the scene look better. More purplish colors and blue in this case would work. |

Thank you very much, Omi-kun!
You're right, the colors of the scene are pretty boring. I'll keep in my mind what you've written
Here's another painting, scribbled on a paper, scanned and colored with a mouse [before I bought my wacom]. |
