A view into a parallell universe, kind of film noir with hermaphroditic furries... Just for fun. The cars, hat and ground started as 3d models, photo reference was used for Cat's face and Mousie's legs. C, C and overpaints welcome.

Wow, that's really just fantastic--love the technique--it certainly gives the film noir mood perfectly......and the subjects are just the cutest--I'd love to see more of your work! _________________ **********************

Very nicely rendered, but the furry bit really puts me off I have to admit.
Theres something about the face of the cat that I really dontlike, but I cant put my finger on it. Also the part where the tail meets the dress on mousie looks a bit smudgy and draws my eye upon it all the time, so does the hand of mousie.
My favorite parts of the image are the gun and the hand holding it, mousies face, hair and foot. |

no i can agree with mister glitterbug
Cat's face matches perfectly to the "features" of a cat. a little cocky, choosy, interested, "nobly" ... My granny's cat is an exotically one. So there you can see all those peculiarities.
You created a good mood too.
i hope you'll color it!? |

If you decide to color it, I hope you do not go the route of full saturation and poppy colors. Much rather I would like to see it colored very subtle and maybe with a brownish/sepia tint over it. Or maybe even bluish to accent the feeling of night, as done in alot of movies. |

I am saying go ahead and color it. But leave the b&w image along. I think it looks very sexy! |

It's more effective black and white, but i think it would be cool to see a colour version. Maybe in a dick tracy colour scheme? ..maybe, maybe not, only way to find out is to experiment i guess. |
