yo, does anyone with some flash mx experience know if theres a soft edged brush like this in flash? cuz i feel the need to use one but all i can find are the hard edge ones. Which is not cool.

no such thing - Flash is a Vector App so theres no raster brushes...

u can import bitmaps into flash tho'

hmmm...i see. Well then is there a way to blur objets? Or would i just have to import them.

u can do a sudo blur - but it wouldn't be as good as if u did it in PS and imported it..

you can blur objects by placing several copies on top of each other with different opacities(doesn't take up much space and memory). doesn't look very good though

and you can blur shapes by using modify - shape - soften fill edges. also try any other options in that menu.

Don't underestimate the power of using bitmaps with blurred alpha channels.

Any yea there is a paintbrush in flash, though its only hard edged. No blurry style ones.
