I like the console. But I don't like the bright blue background. I don't know why, maybe too contrasty? But maybe that's what you're going for. It doesn't look right to me. And on the beach.com layouts, I like layout 2 better. 
Keep working on it, you will figure out what you're searching for. It's not terribly rotten though.

Hey nice. But but... you used Image Ready!!! Wut a ch33t3r! no just joking. How do you use that image ready slice stuff? I cain't figure it out! arrrgh! The site is nice. Professionally layed out. But the beachguide.com layout is too sliced up.
