Personally I'd prefer to see it without the colour. The colour is interfering with my reading the lines. Like, the shield looks potentially really interesting, but the lines are difficult to pick out. The textured background isn't really helping either in my opinion. _________________ "Me? i donno... i think if there was NO color it might take away from the pic...but i do agree that some of the color makes the lines hard to see (in the shield, for one)
so mebbe if the pic was greyscale?
anyway, i still think the pic is badass |

nice job, I really like the armor. One thing that bothers me is that one vertical line on the head which abruptly divides the helmet into light side dark side, it kinda flattens out the head. |

it looks like alot to look at. alot of detail and shine. it seems like there is too much going on to me. maybe taking the textured background out would help. since he is a paladin maybe you could make it a realy bright devine white light.
he's realy cool though |

I agree, the background isn't working for it. How about more directional lighting? |

I think it looks mad!
really well drawn - my only crit is with his stance, he kinda feels to me as if he is falling backwards a little.
I would keep in a similar position normally but draw his legs as if they are under neath his head or just a little further away so his pelvis sticks out a little, which kinda gives some attitude sometimes.
Kinda like the way i did it in a one of my pics (isn't well drawn, but it has a similar stance as to what i'm talking about - i'm mainly talking about his torso and legs position)

anyway - hope that helps, looks good anyway man |
