hey, i'm working on a piece that i need to finish really quickly if i actually want to make the deadline for something...
i was having a lot of trouble finding references for anything in the pic (i must be bad at searching for them...) so so far this is completely visualization.
i'm really bad at lighting and all that stuff, and was wondering if any of you could let me know if this looks somewhat ok and how i could improve it. I'm still in the process of working w/ it though, so i know this is really off - but i thought i'd throw this out first anyways
EDIT:

My only advise for you would be to just look around and notice how light works. As for your pose in that one, perhaps if you got one of the wooden "dolls" that you can pose (you know, the ones you see in art classes) and place it in that pose and shine a flashlite at it, and see how the highlights and shadows fall. _________________ Her eyes were cold and harsh....which made them hard to chew. |
