It's been a while since I had anything worth posting here. Here's something I'm working on in Photoshop.
Just hoping for any suggestions.
Thanks

Very nice, however the right leg looks a little skewed. Would like to see the drawing again at a latter stage after more details are added... Good initial concept... |

Wow! Looking really good so far. There's one major distraction though; the boots and gloves. They just dont belong and take away from my ability to get into this.
Still, exelent work. ![Very Happy](images/smiles/icon_biggrin.gif) |

I like the overall coloring and in my opinion there isn't too much brown in the picture. But what I especially like is the (lightening of the) face and the sky! keep going, I would like to see this one finished. |

Okay, correct the postion of your shoulder muscles. They are shown in the wrong positions in both cases. In the case of the arm suporting her weight, is it bent, cause it's too small for her body otherwise. I find that the legs are distracting, because they come to a point too close together for real knees. Also, with one leg over the other, the leg on top should have a seemingly smaller thigh than the one below it. Basicially shorten the top leg a bit, and lengthen the bottom leg a bit. The gap between the ribs and the hips looks rediculous, because that would never happen. Draw that part of the body from where you have it starting, jsut below the breast, to the top strap of the g-string(basicially, fill in that brown triangle to be part of the trunk of the body).
The gloves and the boots I have no problems with at this stage. However, I feel that this piece would look great if the sky was at sunrise, or sunset, full of wonderful clolours, and casting more of a harder shadow on her and her wings.
Anyway, hope to see this one when it's done.

Beautifully done! I really like the monochromatic style--I think it really creates a certain mood, and the gold makes it more heroic and graceful looking. The contrast between the figure and the sky is well done, and I think that's really what makes it so great.
I have pretty much no problem with the anatomy. As for that triangle of space between the arm and the stomach that faeklone was talking about, I think that although real people may have certain fat folds there, it fits with the style.
I guess my only anatomy crit is that the size differnece between her left and right breasts may be a bit exaggerated. |

I think it's beautiful. I have no problem with the boots and gloves, or the anatomy except for the fact that her left bicep looks a little on the small side.. it's being crowded out by the shoulder muscle..
love the curves. very soft looking. |
