It's been a while since I shot anything. I'm really tired of my P&S camera, and have been dying for a pro SLR, but can't afford one. So, I still shoot with my crappy Oly C3030Z.
As usual, the model's my wife, Elena. The lighting is just natural light from the balcony. Used a tripod.

Nice Luna. I think I like the last one the best. Her face picks up a subtle red glow from her shirt, and the red highlights already present in her hair add to that. The lighting isn't all that great though...definately could have used a reflector or something to warm it up...dispite the red color the overall tone of the picture still seems a little too cool.
But then again, I suck ass at photography (and most things related to color), so take my words with a grain of salt. ![Wink](images/smiles/icon_wink.gif) |

Very nice photos. Natural light (or even 'found light', i.e., standing a little too close to a neon sign) is often cooler than studio, I think. I agree with fukifino - the last photograph is beautiful and gives her skin a wonderful warm tone, although the first is very nice too. _________________ They don't know who they're f***ing with... they're f***ing with a lean, mean, tattooed, rated-g boy scout.

Nice, nice. The first is really classy, has a kind of elegant and subtle sexuality to it... If you don't mind my saying so. I really like the composition and simplicity of the second one, I think that photo could really work well with a simple black frame. The third is great, looks very professional, like something I'd expect to see on a CD cover with some sleek text on the left. Feels a little too cold overall, though, which I don't think really works with the subject. The last looks very young and innocent, like a senior photo or something. Has a lot of personality in it. |

Thanks for the comments.
I'm kinda on a "cool color" kick with my photography right now, so I tend to push them in that direction. I remember a couple years ago, I was on a "warm color" kick and everything was yellow and orange. ![Very Happy](images/smiles/icon_biggrin.gif) |
