Since you just started with Photo Editing software, A few pointers.
1) no matter how tempting they are, dont use filters. Photoshop comes with filters installed like swirl and lensflare, but leave them be. most serious artists dont consider using them "art"
2) Sijuners have a tendency to flame new artists who use filters alot, so maybe read the forums a while, spend time practicing drawing and stuff and learn all you can.
if youve read these forums all that much you should realize that they arent about just being able to use programs like photoshop etc, its about spending time improving your skill as an artist.
Show us some drawings you've done, some paintings or sculptures or something. |

What Awe said, show us actual art, or tries at art, not some bad filtermonkey stuff.
Using filters isnt bad at all imo, but at the right time. Like mostly for texture generation or stuff like that. |

The main problem with this picture is, that it is just nothing at all. It doesn't say anything, it doesn't mean anything, it doesn't realy show anything, it's not appealing and at least for me it doesn't even tempt my imagination.
It's just a random thing and way too abstract.
Thats why you won't get any comments on the piece it self. No one understands it. You can make such thing's, but perhaps then you should explain it a bit. |

that person needs to get banned from the forums, that's nasty.
but anyways, throwing some filters on a picture isn't too great. I think becuase of them you ended up with a picture that is hard to look at... |
