wow, that is really cool, I can tell a lot of love went into that Smile
for some reason though i almost like the close up on the ship better than the whole thing..... i think its just because there is too much unnecessary stuff, its too tall. i think it would look better if you cropped off the top %25 percent or so, and then re-painted in those ships doing a fly-by at a lower altitude

Looks great and very detailed, must've taken very long to complete.
The only critic I have is the composition of the first image. Perhaps the problem is that there is no focus point where the eye could settle.

I am putting together the making of this artwork. Once I get it done it will be on my website. Probaly in a month or so. Thanks for commenting everyone. I understand what your saying about the focus and all, but I wanted it to be busy like it is. This is the last artwork of mine that will be this detailed.

Wow! That is astounding. So much detail!!! Shocked

I think the composition is quite nice; very epical - suiting of such a rescue scene.

Chris! The finished version rules! I love it. I think you pretty much solved any compositional problems you had with it, and the details are of course amazing.

*p.s. thankyou for not using my bandwidth Smile
*p.s.s. ATTENTION EVERYONE, THIS ARTIST IS A TEENAGER!!!

I did not use a cloud filter. All clouds are painted. The only filter I use is guissan blur. How ever it is spelled.

Tthe smoke is not as good as the other elements of the pic, and shouldn't there be a reflection of the fire in the back on the frontmost ship? i still like this, you've done a good job here laddy.
