hey-o. thought i would post these sketches i did the other day, they only took a coupla mins each but i think i managed to portray my ideas at least. i know they're not brilliant (and i am making the rest of you look even better XD) but i'd still rather have some harsh criticism on them ok!? thanks.
Growth Spurt:
Evil Lady:
and then this is a progression of the Evil Lady sketch which i think you'll agree is improvement!
p.s. i've been trying my hand with painter 6 lately but i'm still not grasping a good way to use it etc, so a few pointers on getting going with painter would be much appreciated. thanks again. ^_^ _________________

It would probably be a good idea to stop drawing figures with trees and branches and wings growing out of them and just start drawing figures. The fact that the anatomy is so off coupled with the fact that the guys foot turns into roots isnt helping hide the anatomy errors as much as you would like.
Improve your straight anatomy and everything else should be allot easier in the future.
Also put painter 6 away until youve mastered Paper and Pencil V1.0 |

ok thats fair enough i did ask for some harsh criticism but that didn't really help with these specific pictures.... i know my anatomy isn't great and did i mention they were VERY ROUGH sketches?
here is something else i did a while ago with pencil/paper/photoshop etc which might show better anatomy
i've already been experimenting with painter and i think i'm getting the hang of it (believe it or not, but nothing amazing yet).
anyway some pointers on improving these particular images would be much appreciated, keep the criticism coming thanks. _________________
