That is pretty darn cool. Sadly I suck so I can't offer any advice. |

Meant to reply to this earlier. Looks really cool. Did you use any 3d programs? |

Nice work yelahttam! The second one is much more dramatic and the explosion looks great. Only now it seems like there's too much movement going on... Maybe if you removed the gray mass following the ufo further from the viewer, the image would become more solid.
Cool ufo design btw! |

i love the concept, but i think they could look a little more wwii-ish... my suggestion is to make the glass domes look like the ball turrents of bomber planes. also, a little bit more boxyness would make it look more wwii era. cool idea tho ![Smile](images/smiles/icon_smile.gif) _________________ check out my webpage @ http://www.evanart.com/ |

GREAT CONCEPT!!!
It would be made better with a little more investment in how these things are flying. There's no mode of powered flight discernable. I see the fans around the center, but it doesn't look like they're moving.
It would be cool to add in three big cylinders around the front "cone" area and a propeller blur between the dome and the saucer. Might make it more clear how these things get off the ground, and stay with the WWII era idea.
IMHO of course. ![Smile](images/smiles/icon_smile.gif) |

they're flying saucers... they don't need to show how they're flying... |

These are great!! I love the colors. Did you do most of the work in painter or photoshop?

I like this one, it's nice. Explosion looks fantastic.
I'd try to make the sky gradient much smoother, keep values closer. Your whispy clouds, keep values tighter, don't hit white.
You can afford contrast in this piece, but pick one spot in your picture where you want the white highlight, keep all other values beneath this point. Picture has so many white points it's difficult to get a clear read.
Well done! _________________ http://www.somniostudios.com |
