Really nice gothic style! I agree with mon, the texture in the first one is grait. The second painting seems somehow a bit too blurry, like it would have been done with a really big brush. I recommend you lighten up the face a bit and maby add some finer texture to the skin.

There is a texture layer with those my paintings.
usually i've been used my painting (none digital) for the texture layer.
and sometimes i used photo images (from internet, my digital camera.etc)

I know the second image is so blurry...because texture layer is too stratched.
next time, i'll take care of it.
