Okay, Shrimpish seems to have quite a little problem with me (jealous?), anyway, he requested that I post something of the calibre of my ID concept stuff -- so here you go.
It's a sketch of Spawn and The Curse battling it out on a table in a dungeon.

This was drawn on illustration board with a 4H mechanical pencil (VERY light), then inked with an Artline 204 inkpen.

i dont understand that 'war' between u guys..
i think marius just told u what he's thinking of your art...
anyway.. no reason for him to be jealous.. i really dont want to insult you, but up to
now i prefer marius' digital art to your sketches..
but i like em, really.. Spawn is cool!
farewell, gt

Heh, I didnt mean that he was jealous of my digital talents, cuz I really don't have much of it.
I meant he was jealous of my position at ID, which he CONSTANTLY brings up. It gets quite annoying.

Hey mongoose! Great pic, it's so detailed! Thanx for posting it because it's given me an idea of where I want to head with my drawing, and how I can improve.
Thanx again,

Mongoose, you live in Dallas as well then correct?
*lives in north dallas*
oh wait, I'm a tard...I just remembered, you said that you were from Canada...
Most of the ID folks live around here though. Are you working remotely with plans to move? or are they gonna let you continue from there?

Naw, not textures at all -- exclusive character design. I did some level sketches too (in 3-dimensional form), as well as some advertisements, etc..
But all of it (except for some logo design/layout) was done using traditional methods. I am just learning how to "paint" with Photoshop / Painter now, and it's pretty hard. I have a great deal of respect for people that can do it well.

I don't work at ID anymore. When I did I was working remotely.
ID was publically looking for artists back in the early nineties. They posted contests, web-ads, etc. But instead of doing that, instead of just emailing a few submissions of my work, I Purolated my whole sketchbook (and a few paintings) to ID. They accepted me, and allowed me to work from home (Canada). We corresponded by phone/email on a daily basis (they covered all my phone bills).
I've talked to John Carmack a few times, but I worked exclusively under his brother, Adrian.

I just got hired on by a company out here a month ago. We had considered having me work remotely, but that fell through because the high volume of work they wanted to do. So, instead, they paid my moving expenses.
Have you seen pictures of the building ID is in? omigod. It rocks man.

HAHAHHAA!
This has got to be the biggest rip-off of a spawn comic I have EVER seen. Everyone (if you can) go and check out Spawn #41, Mongoose pretty much TRACED the image in the comic... Seeing as how the picture in the comic is done 10x better..
Why don't you go and get some skill you retard. I hate morons like you.
P.S. If you would like, I could even post a picture from the comic, and you can all see how much of an idiot Mongoose is.

BWHAHAHAA
You fucking little retard. Post the picture, let everyone see how retarded YOU are.
The pose is the same, that is IT. *ALL* the detail is different. And I traced it? It's on illustration board you little cocksucker.
So, POST THE PICTURE. And while you're at it, post some of your work so I can tear it to shit.
