I'm a noob too, but I have to say not to knock your girlfriend, but the cat is great! the fur really comes alive, and its nice and soft. For someone who says they don't have a tablet, you did the hair on the cat realyl well..
If you could add more detail to the eyes of your gf, and teh cat, I think it would draw more focus. 'The eyes aer the windows the soul', etc. The tonal values on the skin look great too... keep up the work...
I feel terrible being a noob.... |

Nice Job
One thing really
Sharpen
Sharpen it up alot...I think youve got a good thing here
Just needs to be a bit crisper
Take the nostrels for instance
and I think the cats eyes could use a bit of shadow on them..little flat
But all in all
Very nice work _________________ "The Wisest men I know are Bad Spellers."

yeh well mouses can be powerful too - don't belittle the mouse saying you can't do it - i think there are MANY conveniences about having a tablet, and things can go quicker, but to be honest, the piece i'm working hardest on right now is being done at work with a mouse, b/c i don't have a tablet there - but i work harder on it and more time b/c i'm at work and etc etc...
anyways, great job for being to new to it all!!! =D _________________ ~a shadow, a moment, a memory-- a monument, a legend, a legacy~ |
