Is it just me or does Photoshop CS not include a thumnail preview in xp, even if thumbnail view is selected?
???
Really annoying as i remember prevoius versions did provide previews, didn't they?

Photoshop CS has a pretty useful file browser with thumbnails and everything. It's right next to the Brushes/Tool Presets/Layer Comps tabs.

| Yea, I know about that one, it pretty good. But does photoshop not write a preview thumbnail to the actual file so that when your browsing with explorer it will display a small image in thumbnail view? - Im sure PS7 did this |

it works for me, you mean like when you open a folder in thumbnail view correct?
i am seeing a preview

| Yea exactly, with thumbnail view on i just get the photoshop icon, wierd, anybody know the answer to fix this? Ill maybe just contact adobe about it. |

| Don't have a fix, but I have the same problem,... worked fine before. (photoshop 6 and earlier) When I upgraded to CS the Thumbnails in windows are all messed up. I've tried just about everything with no luck. Sometimes I'll even load it back up in PS6 and re-save just so the icon works again. |

well, i found out....
"Photoshop CS no longer provides thumbnail icons of .psd files through operating system folder windows. Please use the File Browser to view your .psd thumbnail files."
what a pile of shite!, i really liked seeing the thumbnails in explorer  i think i may just reinstall ps7 |
