This is a painting I did for a good friend of mine. Been working on it for a while, took me about a month or so to finish, working on it whenever I had some free time, which wasnt much. 
All done in Photoshop 7.

| That's really cool. I think the sky in the upper right is a little too busy, it really distracts from the wave and confuses the composition. Maybe tone down the contrast and brightness in that area? |

awesome idea, awesome painting.... but i hate the composition. i the horse just doesn't seem to be the subject of the painiting, and the sky behind it really distracts. nice tho

That wave looks awsome. I agree though that the BG is far too busy. Calm that sky down and give the mountains a blueish, low opacity, blue layer over it or something to take the contrast out of it and push it into the BG. Good stuff dude.

one thing though, I did this for a good friend of mine, Dawn...hence the sky...so I dont want to tone it down too much, but i'll play with it a little.
