Hello,

i just tried to install from the canon cd. But when installing the twain driver error message :

1608 : INSTANCE COULD NOT BE CREATED.


Next problem when connecting the cam with PC a window pop up and normaly you should be able choosing like in my case Photoshop 7.

But the box is empty.

So all i have to do is oening PS and import.


Any help? I run Windows 2000

whats ur system? XP, 2K, 98SE?

have you tried installing manually instead of using the install wizard?

have u thought about using a USB card reader? (much faster for file transfer than from the camera - i got one after waiting forever and a day for the RAW files to come off of my EOS300D)
