Normally my artwork is better then this, but please keep in mind I didn't look at anything to draw this (not even a photo!) - the character is completely original. I'd like to add a few more things to the picture... especially a ship way out at sea. Has anyone drawn ships before? Can they give me tips on how to draw one?

Also I know she looks a little un-real which the hair and eye colors and her weird nose... I did this on purpose as I normally draw her anime style and wanted to hold the anime look at least a little.

When I get around to updating my web page I'll have a lot of other new artwork that's better then this.

Well Ryn, I would love to do a critique but unfortunately I cannot-you have committed the most atrocious act known to mankind-a picture of(get ready for this guys)-its so painful for me to say-a picture of...a picture of that Justin from NSYNC (GASP!)

Anyways in all seriousness the picture obviously isn't your best, but you mentioned that already. The sea is looking great-the technique is from one of those pages you mentioned in an earlier post right? In any case, its looking very good. It looks like you rushed over the sand though. the portrait isnt great, although I think with work it could be improved. The hair is looking good though.

-Do you know of any more sites besides the ones you mentioned earlier? I found them quite helpful.

*LOL* In case you haven't noticed I've also drawn most of the other members in N'Sync. I also have plans to draw the Backstreet Boys, The Proclaimers, KoRn, and about 200 other groups! (if only there were time) I love almost all kinds of so there. *grin*

Okay onto the sea... yes it was based on techniques from one of those pages I mentioned before. I drew it about two months ago and just tossed it in as a background for now. I have plans to do something with the sand... I'm not sure what. I also want to add a PIRATE ship (since Leo asked what kind) and some lightning.

Lastly check my links pages for a TON of how to links of all kinds. I have a bunch of new ones to add, but I'm waiting until I can get my new site design up.
