Here's my first post to this great site. Inspired by all of those cowboy speed paints in the speedpainting section. If I've set everything up properly-good.
If not, artwork can be viewed at

Ahhh...the dreaded lense flare! Actually, I think the flare works pretty well in this scenario.
The only thing that bugs me is the cowboy in the rear. He looks like he's in motion...my eyes go all wacky trying to look at him. It's like you're looking at him through a survailance camera that someone's shaking up and down. Basically, I think he's got the wrong kinda blur attached to him...I dunno. But it really wigs my eyes out.
Beyond that I really dig it. It's got a sort of still frame look, as if someone took a picture of the scene or paused a movie. |

I hear you with the dreaded lens flare---but that was the intention...your looking up (basically straight into the sun). and should get a feeling of squinting or bothering your eyes. And the intention of the blur was ..yeah, mess with the looking up into the sun bit and play play off the way heat does that blur thing that it does on a hot day in the desert basically. Thx for the comments |

Here is another image I just finished. I'm still trying to figure out the best and quickest way to post a new image through a web connection. (as I understand it --you have to have a web connection)
I am not program savvy so please bear with me if this doesn't work.
thanks

I think the first image would look a lot better without the lensflare.
The values already do the trick IMO.
The 2nd image doesn't work. Even if I follow the link.
But you also forgot to add a "/" in the second img tag:
[img]http://www.ofoto.com/PhotoView.jsp?&collid=88954163805&photoid=92425463805[/img]
would be correct. _________________ http://www.conceptworld.org |

i like it a lot... makes me think it is one frame from an animated movie or something. usually i'd say lens flares are gay but it seems to work well for this one. keep up the good work _________________ check out my webpage @ http://www.evanart.com/ |
